Beauty In Nature
Over the last thirty years we have created these peaceful grounds, having planted nearly every tree, hedge and flower. Whatever the time of year, beauty in nature can be found. There are swathes of daffodils, fritillaries, rhododendrons and snowdrops in spring; waterlilies, astilbes and varied leaves of the many different types of trees in summer; hazelnuts and russet red leaves of liquidambar and acer trees in the autumn; silver birch trees and colourful stems of many varieties of willows and dogwoods in winter.
Nature Exploration
You can get up close and personal to the great outdoors by taking a woodland walk beside the stream, where you might catch sight of a dipper or kingfisher. We provide children’s nature explorer kits, so families can be wildlife explorers, looking out for dragonflies, butterflies and a whole host of beetles and bugs.Moorhen and mallards can sometimes be spotted on the stream and pond, whilst buzzards and red kites often circle above the fields. You can enjoy their calls as you eat at one of the three picnic tables dotted around the grounds. Nurture Your Soul
The beautiful grounds mean that you don’t even have to leave the property if you want to take time out of a busy life and reconnect with nature. The space allows you to share quality time with family, friends and your four-legged friends, making precious memories that will last a lifetime. The play field provides a safe place to play ball games or to allow your dogs to run free and fetch their toys. The central meadow has a rustic firepit, so you can toast marshmallows, whilst enjoying the view of the stream and feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Pause and relax, allowing nature to recharge your batteries, before leaving, feeling re-energised and ready for daily life.
